We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Large Format UV Printing Machine Operator to manage daily production operations of our 3.2-meter UV roll-to-roll printing machine. The ideal candidate will be responsible for machine operation, print quality control, basic maintenance, and efficient production workflow management.
This role is critical to ensuring high-quality output, minimal material wastage, and timely job completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and manage large format UV printing machines (roll-to-roll).
- Prepare and process print files using RIP software.
- Ensure accurate color matching and print quality consistency.
- Handle media loading, alignment, and material setup.
- Perform routine machine cleaning and basic maintenance.
- Monitor production workflow and ensure timely job completion.
- Identify and resolve basic printing and machine-related issues.
- Maintain proper usage of materials to minimize waste.
- Coordinate with production and management teams for job scheduling.
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in large format printing operations.
- Hands-on experience with UV printing machines is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of RIP software (Flexi / Maintop / Onyx or equivalent).
- Understanding of different printing materials
- Ability to perform basic troubleshooting of printing issues.
- Strong attention to detail and quality control.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Ricoh printhead-based machines (Gen5 / Gen6 preferred).
- Knowledge of print production workflows in signage or advertising industry.
- Previous experience in GCC countries is an advantage.
